Saturday Workshop: Mist & Breeze

A creative afternoon by Moniquia of MINE

1:30 - 5:30pm

Saturday, November 7, 2026

Mist & Breeze is an afternoon of making, story, and the kind of connection that stays with you.

It takes place on Saturday, November 7, as part of the Emerging from the Fog retreat — and it's open to anyone ready to step into the circle.

What we'll do

Walk the land and collect what calls to you. Build a Fairy Light Story Jar — a small illuminated world that holds a memory, a wish, or a dream you're ready to give form. Add your thread to the SWOW Community Quilt, a growing collective piece that carries the stories of everyone who has moved through this work.

Moniquia will also share the story of MINE and close the afternoon with something special: a collection of original creations named in honor of members of the SWOW community — a tribute to the connections, creativity, and spirit that have shaped her vision.

About MINE

MINE was born from a simple name — Mios, Spanish for "mine," belonging to a goddaughter's beloved teddy bear — and grew into something much larger. Today, MINE creates thoughtfully curated gifts sourced from indigenous artisans and small-batch makers, designs meaningful events, and transforms spaces into places of belonging. A portion of every purchase supports a future safe haven for young people — a place where creativity is nurtured, talents are discovered, and every person feels seen.

Saturday's workshop is part of that vision in action.
